This glossary has been compiled by students at the University of Innsbruck in cooperation with planlicht specialists. The current version contains explanations of general terms used in the lighting industry and specific vocabulary concerning products from our low-voltage range in German, English and French.
Lamps which operate by creating an electric arc inside a gas-filled tube. The color of the light is determined by the type of phosphor coating used in the lamp.
