We are convinced by our products and initiatives - so it's all the better when this enthusiasm is also shared outside PLANLICHT. For us, awards are not only confirmation, but also an incentive.

The following is a small excerpt of current Awards, which emphasise our quality, innovative strength and design expertise:

Sustainability category

MyDistrict Regionality Award Tyrol 2025

PLANLICHT has been honoured with yet another award: In the category sustainability we win the MyDistrict Regionality Award Tyrol 2025.
For the seventh time, RegionalMedien Tirol is putting the spotlight on outstanding associations, companies, initiatives and projects that strengthen regionalism in Tirol with their commitment.

PLANLICHT won the Sustainability category and the prize was accepted by CEO Felicitas Kohler together with Stephan Oberhauser (Director SCM) and Michael Mayr (Director F&A).

Styrian Entrepreneur 2023

At the beginning of October, the „Styrian Women Entrepreneurs of the Year 2023“ was honoured by the Styrian Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the extraordinary successes of female entrepreneurs. Women were honoured in five categories for their impressive achievements and remarkable female power.

Felicitas Kohler, CEO of PLANLICHT & the PLANLICHT GROUP, was delighted to receive the award for „Best sustainable“ for the PLANLICHT subsidiary PLANFACTORY in Murau, Styria.

„I am particularly pleased about this award because Sustainability is more than just a trendy buzzword for us and represents a central aspect in the orientation of PLANLICHT and the entire PLANLICHT GROUP,“ says Felicitas Kohler, who also dedicates this award to the entire team of committed employees at all company locations.

Sustainability plays an important role for the entire PLANLICHT GROUP, so it was only natural that it should also take centre stage during the construction of the new site. The PLANFACTORY, which went into operation this year in Murau, Styria, is characterised as a CO2-neutral production site which provides the majority of the primary products and technologies required for the production of high-quality luminaires and lighting systems.

The operating site also scores with Maximum building efficiency and the Energy generation from renewable energy sources (photovoltaic system, in-house wood chip system, green electricity from regional hydropower).

Women Entrepreneurs Award 2023

The PLANLICHT GROUP is delighted to receive the first award from PLANFACTORY, a subsidiary of PLANLICHT.

PLANLICHT GROUP Managing Director Felicitas Kohler was named the winner of the „Women Entrepreneurs Award 2023“ in the Category Foundation & Start-up chosen.

„In mid-June, “Die Presse„ and “Frau in der Wirtschaft (FiW)" presented awards to Austria's best female entrepreneurs for the ninth time. The award is also supported by Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG - Vienna Insurance Group, Volksbank and Galerie Ernst Hilger.

„What makes us unique are the People, who worked with us to realise this fantastic project,“ says Felicitas Kohler, who is delighted with the special award together with the entire team.

State winner Tyrol

Best family business 2023

As part of the renowned gala organised by The press PLANLICHT became the „Best family business in Tyrol“ honoured. The award recognises values such as Consistency, trust and regional added value.

Company owner & CEO Felicitas Kohler - daughter of the company founder - proudly accepted the award together with COO Gerald Kohler. „Together with our committed employees we make rooms shine and show that light can do so much more than just provide brightness,“ says Felicitas Kohler, who dedicates the award to the entire team.

Since then, the award has had a place of honour in the showroom at the headquarters in Vomp.
