For Andreas, PLANLICHT stands for architectural lighting solutions, customised and sustainably developed products that are produced in Austria, excellent service and, of course, his professional home.

The product manager from Schwaz in Tyrol is responsible for the product portfolio and pricing and recently celebrated his 20th anniversary at PLANLICHT.

Since he joined Andreas has gained experience in various departments (planning, marketing & sales) at the company, which was already well known to him in his youth due to its regional reputation, and has thus Comprehensive expertise constructed.

His day-to-day work is still extremely varied, as he deals with the different phases of the product development process, for example.

Strategically, he looks at market trends, moods and needs while keeping an eye on technological innovations. Andreas is constantly striving to expand his knowledge, learn new things and illuminate the world with innovative lighting solutions.

Trade fairs and congresses: Interfaces of technology and networking

Trade fairs and events play a key role in Andreas’ day-to-day work. He gained his first experience at lighting trade fairs in 2004, when he helped PLANLICHT with the light+building trade fair in Frankfurt and was able to take a look behind the scenes.

Even today, Andreas is still fascinated by events for the lighting and illumination industry, as they offer the opportunity to come into direct contact with people, products and technologies in an increasingly digital world. The personal exchange with industry experts and customers takes place on various levels: communicative, haptic, sensory and, above all, emotional.

In addition to lighting trade fairs, lighting technology congresses are particularly important for product management. These not only cover innovative technologies and standards, but also deal with the requirements and trends in the fields of architecture and lighting design. Such events are must-attend events for Andreas in order to keep up to date and promote dialogue with industry insiders.

Andreas sees light as a giver of life that accompanies and guides us evolutionarily and subjectively. „Light is a means to an end and an ingenious artist in one“, says the PLANLICHT product manager, who is passionate about light.
