This attitude shapes Julia's everyday working life. As assistant to the management and apprentice supervisor, she combines structure, responsibility, and humanity – and ensures in the background that many things run smoothly.

With a passion for light to PLANLICHT
Julia Berkmann came to PLANLICHT through her fascination with light. Today, she values the company as Family business with diverse development opportunities, where personal responsibility, collaboration, and personal development are actively lived. As the Management Assistant, she keeps many organisational threads together in the background. 

She coordinates appointments, prepares meetings, takes minutes and supports the management team with ongoing tasks. Events and business trips are also within her remit.

Julia selbst describes her role with a twinkle in her eye: „I can manage the management team daily.“ It is this versatility that makes their job particularly rewarding for them. For their position, organisational talent, time management, discretion, strong communication skills, independence, and flexibility are crucial. Qualities that Julia herself possesses. She describes herself as humorous, reliable, and collegial.

With a heart for the next generation
Neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Assistenz der Geschäftsführung begleitet Julia als Apprentice representative she also supports the next generation at PLANLICHT – a role that is particularly close to her heart. As a mentor, she guides young people from the job interview right through to the end of their training at PLANLICHT.

Julia is passionate about working with young people, identifying their talents, building their confidence, and witnessing their progress. She sees PLANLICHT as an employer with strong team cohesion, personal support, and good development opportunities – for example, through the Job Rotation System and regular feedback meetings.

Looking to what's to come
For the future, Julia wishes to develop professionally and personally, take on responsibility, and help shape the company long-term – in an appreciative environment with prospects. She is driven by working with people, shared goals, and the feeling of creating real added value with her work.

Personally, there are clear favourites too: Her favourite product is halo, which has found its place not only in the product range but also in her dining room at home.

Outside of work, Julia finds relaxation with her family in the mountains – skiing in the winter, hiking and cycling in the summer. These moments give her energy and new inspiration.
