Another award for PLANLICHT: winner of the MeinBezirk Regionalitätspreis Tirol 2025 in the Sustainability category
PLANLICHT can proudly add another accolade to its collection: we have been awarded the MeinBezirk Regionalitätspreis Tirol 2025 in the Sustainability category.
For the seventh time, RegionalMedien Tirol is putting the spotlight on outstanding associations, companies, initiatives and projects that are dedicated to strengthening regional identity and development in Tirol.
Whether a small local association or a large industrial enterprise – anyone making a valuable contribution to the region’s growth has the chance to be honoured with the Regionalitätspreis Tirol.
PLANLICHT took home the win in the Sustainability category. The award was joyfully accepted by Felicitas, together with Stephan and Michael – a proud moment for the entire team.

STEIRISCHE UNTERNEHMERIN DES JAHRES 2023 | KATEGORIE BESTE NACHHALTIGE (STYRIAN ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR 2023 | BEST SUSTAINABLE CATEGORY)
At the beginning of October, the “Styrian Women Entrepreneurs of the Year 2023” were awarded for the eighth time by the Styrian Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the extraordinary successes of women entrepreneurs. Women were honoured in five categories for their impressive achievements and remarkable female power.
Felicitas Kohler, CEO of PLANLICHT & the PLANLICHT GROUP, was delighted to receive the “Best Sustainable” award for PLANLICHT subsidiary PLANFACTORY in Murau, Styria.
“I am particularly pleased about this award, as sustainability is more than just a trendy buzzword for us and represents a central aspect in the orientation of PLANLICHT and the entire PLANLICHT GROUP,” says Felicitas Kohler, who also dedicates this award to the entire team of committed employees at all company locations.

Sustainability plays an important role for the entire PLANLICHT GROUP and so it was a matter of course that this was also the focus during the construction of the new location. The PLANFACTORY, which went into operation this year in Murau, Styria, stands out as a CO2-neutral production site that ensures the majority of the required primary products and technologies for the production of high-quality luminaires and lighting systems. The plant also scores points for maximum building efficiency and energy generation from renewable energy sources (photovoltaic system, in-house wood-chip plant, green electricity from regional hydropower).

The PLANLICHT GROUP is delighted to receive its first award from PLANFACTORY, a subsidiary of PLANLICHT.
PLANLICHT GROUP Managing Director Felicitas Kohler was chosen as the winner of the “Unternehmerinnen Award 2023” in the category “Gründung & Start-up”.
In mid-June, “Die Presse” and “Frau in der Wirtschaft (FiW)” presented awards to Austria’s best female entrepreneurs for the ninth time. The Women Entrepreneurs Award, which is presented in the categories of Special Entrepreneurial Achievement, Innovation, Foundation and Start-up, Export and Social Entrepreneurship, is also supported by Wiener Städtische Versicherung AG – Vienna Insurance Group, Volksbank and Galerie Ernst Hilger.
“What makes us unique are the people who have worked with us to implement this great project!” says Felicitas Kohler, who, together with the entire team, is delighted about the special award.

PLANLICHT can adorn itself with further awards: In spring, the manufacturer of architectural LED lighting solutions received two awards.
In May, the lighting expert from the Tyrolean Unterland was named “Best Family Business 2023 | Tyrol” – an award given to outstanding Austrian family businesses based on the criteria of value creation, consistency and trust. In addition, PLANLICHT & PLANLICHT GROUP Managing Director Felicitas Kohler was delighted to win the “Female Entrepreneur Award 2023” in the Founding & Start-up category for the PLANFACTORY subsidiary in June.
